Police are appealing for information after a parked car on a Stoke-on-Trent estate was deliberately set alight by arsonist.
Emergency services were called to Chelmsford Drive, Bentilee, around 12.15am last Thursday following reports of a car fire.
A Fiat Fullback 4×4 had been torched, which caused the handbrake to fail and the vehicle to collide with a nearby Vauxhall Astra.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Fortunately, the fire was quickly extinguished and no-one was injured.
“An investigation is ongoing and we want to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area prior to the fire.
“Anyone with information is asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org and quote incident number 010 of October 4.”
